There are several rooms within the Main House of varying size, together with a permanent marquee to the rear of the House, as well as other, specially converted buildings on the Estate offering a more secluded setting, giving you a wide choice of size, ambience and budget that will perfectly suit your requirements.
We are also rightly proud to be able to cater the freshest local produce to the very highest standards, whether it be for business lunches, champagne receptions and family parties, right up to large conference dinners, banquets and wedding breakfasts. Our highly experienced team are able to build a perfect menu to cap a perfect day.
Designed in the 1750s by the Adam Brothers, and saved for the nation in 2007 by HRH Prince Charles, Dumfries House has an unrivalled collection of furniture by Thomas Chippendale, Alexander Peter, Francis Brodie, and William Mathie. The Estate also has a working farm, run in partnership with Morrisons, and facilities to host weddings, banquets, meetings and conferences.
